Courses for children aged 7-9. General information.

Please take a moment to read the information below carefully — it will help you understand how the classes are structured and what to expect.

About Me

My name is Yulia Boyarskaya. I am an embroidery artist and have been passionate about this craft for over 20 years. I have a background in education, and since 2019 I’ve been teaching my own embroidery workshops.

My classes are usually designed for adults with no prior experience in needlework, but recently I’ve received more and more requests for classes tailored to children and teenagers.

Since March of last year, I’ve been teaching kids’ groups — and this experience has been incredibly inspiring!

About the Classes

- Classes are held weekly, with a new topic each time — new designs, materials, and creative stories.
- At the end of every class, your child will take home a completed handmade project.

Age group: 7–9 years old

Format: I take no more than 3 children per group, allowing for a high-quality lesson with individual attention for each student.

Location: My home studio on Van Bleiswijkstraat

Class duration: 1.5 hours. I carefully plan each lesson and prepare a personalized workspace for every child, so we always finish on time.

Materials: All materials are provided — no need to buy anything extra.

Cost: €30.

Schedule

Main class times: Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 13:30
Other time slots are possible in the afternoons on weekdays or weekends — feel free to message me with your preferences. Especially now, at the beginning of the school year, everything is open for discussion.

Registration and Attendance

If your child is enrolled in a specific group, their spot is automatically reserved for every session.

You are also welcome to attend classes on a one-time or occasional basis — if there’s an available spot in the group, or through a private session at a convenient time. It’s best to arrange this in advance.

Trial Class

If you're unsure whether embroidery will interest your child, I’d be happy to offer a trial lesson using any theme from the previous season. It’s a great opportunity to try it out and see if the format is right for your child.

Important: Cancellation Policy

Classes canceled less than 24 hours in advance must be paid for in full.
However, if I need to cancel a class with less than 24 hours’ notice, your next session will be free of charge. This approach helps maintain mutual respect and value for each other’s time.
